Designing the HVAC for a custom home is a coordinated process. Here's how it typically works.
First, you share your project information — architectural plans, square footage, location, and what you need. The more complete the information, the more accurate the design and the quote.
Next, we review the scope. We look at the plans, confirm which services apply (Manual J, Manual S, Manual D, mechanical plans, energy calculations), and identify anything we need from you.
Then we do the engineering: the load calculations, equipment selection, duct design, and the mechanical plan set — coordinated with the architectural and structural plans.
Finally, you receive a complete, permit-ready design package your contractor can build from and your building department can review.
Throughout, you're working directly with the engineer. Questions go straight to the person doing the work — no project managers, no runaround.
